While Roman and Sadi commanded the heights of international law and philanthropy, a new fire was kindling within their own home.

At twelve years old, Stella Vance-Moretti was a breathtaking blend of her parents. She possessed her father's dark, intensely focused eyes and her mother's sharp, analytical intellect. She attended a prestigious prep school in Manhattan, where she already led the debate team to three consecutive state championships.

Her ten-year-old brother, Leo, was built like his father—broad-shouldered, quiet, deeply observant, and fiercely protective of his sister and mother.

On a sunny Saturday afternoon, the family gathered in the sunroom of their Brooklyn estate. Stella sat on the velvet sofa surrounded by thick legal textbooks, highlighting key precedents in yellow marker.

Roman walked in carrying a tray of fresh iced tea and warm cannoli from the Starlight Diner. He set the tray down, sitting beside his daughter.

"Stella," Roman smiled, picking up one of the heavy textbooks she was studying. "This is second-year contracts law from Columbia University. You're twelve."

"The state debate finals are next month, Dad," Stella replied, taking a sip of iced tea with effortless grace. "My opponent from Upper East Side Academy is using an outdated property precedent from 1994. I'm going to dismantle his argument in three minutes."

Roman looked at his daughter, a deep, booming laugh rising from his chest that echoed through the sunlit room. He turned to Sadi, who was leaning against the doorway sipping her coffee.

"She sounds just like you when we first met at booth 4," Roman said, his dark eyes shining with unconditional pride.

Sadi walked over, sitting on the armchair across from them, gently smoothing Stella’s dark hair. "Just remember, Stella... winning a debate isn't about crushing your opponent. It's about revealing the truth so clearly that no one can deny it."

"Truth and leverage, right Mom?" Stella smiled, her eyes flashing with that brilliant fire.

"Truth is the leverage, my sweet girl," Sadi smiled softly.
