Marcus collapsed into a chair, completely broken by the terrifying reality of his own treason against the Rossy family.

He knew exactly what Vincent did to traitors; Carlo had been executed in the basement just a year earlier for a similar betrayal.

"Please, Mrs. Rossy, I will give the money back, I will testify against Julian's entire network," Marcus begged, his voice cracking with hysteria.

Norah did not want blood, she wanted absolute security for her unborn child, and Marcus was the key to dismantling Julian completely.

"I don't want your blood on my floor, Marcus, I want Julian's hidden assets," Norah demanded softly.

She pushed a separate, encrypted tablet across the glass table toward the trembling financial officer.

"You are going to log into the Seattle shell accounts, and you are going to drain every single penny Julian has stored away."

Marcus stared at the tablet in horror, realizing that bankrupting a rival mafia boss was an automatic death sentence.

"If I steal Julian's war chest, the Romanov syndicate will hunt me to the ends of the earth," Marcus protested weakly.

Norah leaned forward, her dark eyes flashing with a dangerous, terrifying intelligence.

"If you don't do it, my husband will be back from the docks in twenty minutes, and he will not be asking for your passwords," she promised.

The threat of Vincent's brutal wrath was completely effective, entirely destroying any remaining resistance Marcus had.

With shaking fingers, Marcus typed his highly classified access codes into the tablet, bypassing Julian’s secondary security walls.

Norah watched the screen as three massive offshore accounts were instantly emptied, the funds transferring directly into a secure Rossy holding company.

Julian Rossi was suddenly, completely bankrupt, his ability to pay soldiers and bribe politicians entirely erased in three minutes.

Norah closed the laptop, a cold, satisfied smile touching the corners of her mouth as she realized her own immense power.

"Your loyalty is appreciated, Marcus," Norah said coldly, standing up from the conference table.

The boardroom doors opened, and two massive security guards stepped inside to escort the traitor away.

"Put him on a private plane to South America, and make sure he never sets foot in my city again," Norah ordered her men.

As she walked out of the building, her phone buzzed with a secure call from Vincent, who had just finished his violent work at the docks.

"The extraction team is gone, the harbor is secure," Vincent growled over the line, his voice heavy with adrenaline and exhaustion.

"And Julian's financial empire is completely destroyed," Norah replied, stepping into the back of her armored SUV.

Vincent went entirely silent for a moment, processing the terrifying efficiency of his beautiful, brilliant wife.

"You bankrupted him?" Vincent asked, a massive swell of pride echoing in his deep voice.

"I took away his army, Vincent, now come home and finish the war," Norah commanded gently.
