On a chilly, starlit night in late November, the first snowfall of the winter season dusted the streets of Manhattan.
Inside the private delivery suite at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, the atmosphere was soft, warm, and filled with hushed anticipation.
At 2:15 AM, a strong, healthy baby cry filled the room!
WAHHHH! WAHHHH!
The lead physician smiled brightly, swaddling the newborn in a soft blue blanket before placing him gently into Sadi’s waiting arms.
"A healthy baby boy," the doctor announced warmly. "Eight pounds, one ounce."
Sadi wept softly with joy, cradling her newborn son against her chest, smoothing back his dark hair.
Roman knelt beside the bed, his broad chest rising and falling with deep, emotional breaths. He reached out with a trembling hand, gently touching his newborn son’s tiny forehead.
"He's perfect, Sadi," Roman choked out, tears streaming down his face as he kissed his wife’s lips. "He's absolutely perfect."
"Meet Leo," Sadi whispered, looking up at her husband with dark, glowing eyes. "Leo Roman Moretti. Named after the strength of his father."
Roman lowered his head, pressing his forehead against Sadi’s, holding both his wife and his newborn son in a close, unbreakable embrace.
Outside the hospital window, snow fell gently over the city lights, wrapping their world in a serene, peaceful white blanket.
